This is the Private Policy of Astrofy (www.astrofy.app, Web and Mobile Application”, Snowmicro Software Solutions Pvt. Ltd. hereinafter referred as “platform”) and its future versions, which is a commercial app and this policy can be found at www.astrofy.app

This page is used to inform users regarding our data handling Practices and disclosure of Personal Information if anyone decided to use our Service. If you choose to use our Service, then you agree to the collection and use of information in relation to this policy. 

Astrofy is committed to protect the privacy of the users of the platform (including astrologers and customers whether registered or not registered). Please read this privacy policy carefully to understand how the platform is going to use your information supplied by you to astrofy.

Your Consent

This Privacy Policy, which may be updated/amended from time to time, deals with the information collected from its users in the form of personal identification, contact details, birth date and time details, Location details and any forecast made using the supplied information and how such information is further used for the purposes of the platform. By accessing the platform and using it, you indicate that you understand the terms and expressly consent to the privacy policy of this platform. If you do not agree with the terms of this privacy policy, please do not use this platform.

Your continued use of this platform shall confirm that you have provided your unconditional consent and confirm to the terms of this privacy policy as regards collecting, maintaining, using, processing and disclosing your personal and other information in accordance with this Privacy Policy.

Our Commitment

• Astrofy guarantees that no direct or indirect use will be made by Astrofy about any information that is revealed in the prediction for a user, except for the explicit purpose of communicating the horoscope charts and predictions back to the user.
• We allow users to access their user profiles and change information, as they deem necessary.
• We do not sell or rent your personally identifiable information to anyone.
• Astrofy does not commit that all of your private communication and other personal information will never be disclosed in ways not otherwise mentioned in this privacy policy. Although, we are committed to protecting your privacy, but we do not promise and you should not expect that your personal information or private communication will always remain private. As a user of this platform, you understand and agree that you assume all responsibility and risk for your use of this platform, the internet generally, and the documents you post or access and your conduct on and off the platform.
• Astrofy does not commit to treat or provide solutions for users with weak mental health which is inclusive of any user who have thoughts related to committing suicide, self-destruction etc. Such users are advised to stop the use of this platform immediately and any continued use of the platform by such user would be considered solely at the user’s risk and the platform shall have no liability for any untoward event in such scenario. The platform declares that the information provided by such kind of user can be shared, if required, with law enforcement authorities. Such information is not protected from any kind of non-disclosure or confidential agreements either with the platform or with any third-party involved herein.
• The Platform does not guarantee in any manner whatsoever for the accuracy of the predictions made by the astrologers to any user. The platform does not take any guarantee/responsibility/liability regarding the reliability or reality of the products represented and sold on the platform. It is further declared by the platform that no warranty on such service is provided by the platform in any manner. 

Information Collection and Use

 

Personal Information:

 

In order to operate the platform in an effective and efficient manner and provide users information on astrological product and services that may be of interest to them, Astrofy may collect personal information of users. 

While accessing the platform, the User of the platform may be required to create an account. The personal information which may be sought while creating an account shall include, but not limited to the First Name, Last Name, Address, Mobile Number, Email-address, Date of Birth, Birth Time and Location, Gender, Photograph, and any other detail required on the platform during registration.

It is hereby informed to all the Users that the e-mail address or phone number together with a password or OTP is used for the purpose of securing User’s profile and for effective implementation of the personalized E-mail and SMS Services provided by Astrofy to the User. In the event that no registration is made by the User, the platform may not be able to provide any services due to non-availability of the personal information of the User.

All users should be aware, however that when they voluntarily distribute or display their personal information (like Phone No, Email address), that information can be collected and used by others. This may result in unsolicited calls or messages for whom Astrofy is not responsible. Also, if you have arrived on the platform by following a link from any other affiliate/third party, then Astrofy may have to share your personal information with that affiliate/third party and that affiliate/third party may use your information as per their own privacy policy instead of this one.

Moreover, this personal information may be passed on to a third party in the event of a transfer of ownership, assets or bankruptcy of astrofy.app

We also collect details including but not limited to User feedback, comments, etc. that may be disclosed/informed/mentioned on any article/blog or groups/forums or other pages which the User may have access to while visiting the platform. For such information which is in public domain and accessible to all the Users and visitors of the platform, the User is advised to exercise its discretion before disclosing it as this information is susceptible to misuse.

Financial Information and its Security

While booking a service through Order Form, the personal information which may be sought would include, but not limited to the information as mentioned above financial information inclusive of bank account information, credit card or debit card details or Net Banking or UPI or Wallets or other payment instrument details through a secure third-party Payment gateway, IP (Internet protocol) Address and any other information that a User may provide during booking a paid service on the Platform. Such information should be kept highly confidential.

We further clarify that we DO NOT store any payment information on our platform. It is collected and processed in a secured manner by third party payment gateways. We follow reasonable industry standards, technical measures and procedural measures to protect against unauthorized access and use of your supplied information. However, you should know that neither we nor any other website can fully eliminate all the risks. Hence the user is advised to take precaution and care against any sharing of the details submitted on the platform included the log-in details as generated after registration. Astrofy is not responsible for the security or confidentiality of communications the user may send through call or internet using email, messages, etc.

Advertisement

We may use third party advertising companies to serve ads on our platform. These companies may use information about you and your visits on our platform and other websites in order to provide advertisement on this platform and other websites about goods and services which may interest to you.

Log Files, IP Address, Cookies and Other Information: 

When you visit astrofy.app and interact with the services and tools that reside there, Astrofy and third parties with whom Astrofy has contracted to provide services to Astrofy may collect information on your actions. The purpose of this information collection is generally to gather broad demographic information that is not personal. We also use your IP address to help diagnose problems with our software or our server and to administer our platform. We track the visitor IP address to get more information on visitor's demography e.g. which parts of the world our traffic comes from. We collect browser types used, screen resolutions, and time spent on the platform to analyze trends, administer and troubleshoot the site, understand user linking and disliking within the platform. All of this information is used for gathering broad demographic data to enhance the performance and services of the Platform.

Some of the services provided by the Platform may direct the User to platform of third parties. Any Information provided by the User on such platforms may be dealt by them in the manner provided by the privacy policy formulated by such third-party platforms.

Astrofy is not responsible or not liable for the mis-use of such information shared by the User or by any third party.

Any other information we receive through email or other method of contact in regard to specific services or products, as a general rule, are not made part of your user profile, and are used only to address your specific need or concern that you may have communicated to us on.

We also track and collect information about user interaction, like when an App is installed, a recharge is done to a wallet, a consultation is made with an Astrologer, Feedback and Rating is provided to Astrologer etc. This information also includes:

• Device Information: Unique Device identifiers, Mobile Network etc
• Location Information: User Location through GPS, IP Address or other medium
• Local Storage: We may collect and store information on user’s local Device using techniques like browser web storage or application data caches.
• Cookies: We use multiple technologies to collect and store when any user browse our platform (web or mobile App), and this may include cookies or similar technologies to identify their browser or device and also for marketing purpose. We also keep track of user’ session to retain their information for multiple days without getting logged out.
• Browser Notifications: We ask for browser notification preference for delivering the browser-based notifications directly to the device. Users can enable/disable this preference at any point of time. 

Use of Information we Collect:

The information collected by the platform may be used for any purpose as may be permissible under the applicable law and shall include but not limited to the following: -

• Research & Development, Marketing, Product Analysis and to ensure the best user experience. We also use this information to offer users customized astrology related content and services including chat and call with astrologers, Astrology content, Horoscope alerts, and other astrological offerings.
• With IP tracking details and Cookies data, the Website will use it only for facilitating the usage of the website and provide personalised experience and any information which is sensitive in nature will not be provided to any third party without the consent of the User.
• We use and share User’s name, Birth Details, Gender, Date of Birth and other details with Astrologers for consultation.
• All information (and copies thereof) collected by platform, including without limitation Personal Information, User Data, and other information related to your access and use of the services offered by Platform, may be retained by Platform for such period as necessary, including but not limited to, for purposes such as compliance with statutory or legal obligations, tax laws and potential evidentiary purposes and for other reasonable purposes such as to implement, administer, and manage your access and use of our services, or resolution of any disputes.
• To ensure a seamless experience at the Platform for you and to ensure your maximum benefit and comfort, the platform may use the data collected through cookies, log file, device identifiers, location data and clear gifs information to: (a) remember information so that you will not have to re-enter it during your visit or the next time you visit the site; (b) provide custom, personalized content and information, including advertising; (c) provide and monitor the effectiveness of Services offered by Platform; (d) monitor aggregate metrics such as total number of visitors, traffic, usage, and demographic patterns on the Website and its Services; (e) diagnose or fix technology problems; and (f) otherwise to plan for and enhance the service.
• We use certain third-party analytics tools to measure traffic and usage trends for the Services. Age Policy:

The Platform requires that the User visiting and using the services are above 18 years of age however some service information is accessible to children under the age of 18 as well. However, it is stressed upon that platform is not designed or intended to be attractive to be used by children under the age of 13 and no personal identifiable information of children below the age of 13 is collected knowingly. IF YOU ARE UNDER 13 YEARS OF AGE, PLEASE DO NOT USE ANY OF THE SERVICE PROVIDED BY THE PLATFORM AT ANY TIME OR IN ANY MANNER. If it comes to the knowledge of the concerned parent regarding sharing of any information of a child under the age of 13, contact us immediately.
